About Jocelyn Burdick, LMT
Jocelyn's love for adventure, travel, and family sparked a journey that led her to the Olympic Peninsula.
Jocelyn is not new to the Pacific Northwest. She studied Family & Human Services at the University of Oregon and Massage Therapy at Lane Community College while living in Eugene for many years. In addition to opening her own massage practice in Eugene, she joined chiropractic teams, as well as the Oregon Supportive Living Program, an agency that works with adults with disabilities. After 3 years of practicing in Eugene, she decided to head to the Florida Keys for a taste of island life. Joining the team at a premium full-service spa allowed her to gain the experience of working with a talented group of professionals as well as clientele from around the world. Her love for fitness and movement grew as she enjoyed yoga, running, strength training, and paddle boarding.
An action-packed cross-country road trip during the pandemic led Jocelyn, her partner, and their furry companion to join her parents in the northwest. She has been mindfully practicing massage therapy and supporting her community members in their healing process as they recover from injuries or focus on general maintenance for an active lifestyle. She has experience working with a diverse clientele, including professional athletes and musicians, expectant mothers, adults with disabilities, cancer patients, and the elderly.
Jocelyn’s practiced modalities include Swedish, therapeutic, and deep tissue. She also integrates trigger point, Thai, cupping, Trager, and craniosacral techniques into her treatment sessions. She has experience with passive stretching, sports massage, and muscle strengthening with therapeutic exercises. Jocelyn provides high quality care as she tailors each of her sessions to the unique needs of her clients.
